Engagement Parties

Your engagement party kicks off the wedding countdown, and it doesn’t need to be fancy to feel special. At Garden of Envy, couples from Banilad, IT Park, and nearby areas book us for casual 50–100 pax celebrations with friends and family. Our garden-style space is perfect for toasts, food, and fun - especially during the cooler months of December to February.

Our packages let you set up for cocktails or sit-down dinners, and we’ve got you covered with karaoke, a projector for a quick photo slideshow, and a sound system that won’t drown out conversations. Pricing is flexible depending on your setup and extras. Some couples use this event as a chance to test out our space before committing to their wedding reception here.

Civil Weddings

Civil Weddings are becoming more popular in Cebu because they’re simple, budget-friendly, and way less stressful to plan.

If you’re doing a city hall ceremony but still want a beautiful reception, Garden of Envy is a great choice. We’re just a short drive from Cebu City Hall and Lahug, and we cater 25–50 guest receptions.

We don’t handle the legal side, but we provide a private, air-conditioned function room with sound system and space to celebrate your way.

You can personalize the styling, play your own music, and there’s no corkage for one lechon or cake. Our indoor rooms are perfect for the rainy season (June–November), while the garden-style alfresco works well from March to May.

Civil wedding packages start from just ₱499 per head with buffet and venue included, plus optional add-ons like cocktails, hosts or live entertainment. It’s your day - and we’ll help make it relaxed, memorable, and full of love.

Renewal of Vows

A vow renewal hits different. It’s not about paperwork - it’s about the journey. Whether you’re celebrating 10, 25, or 50 years together, we help make it feel like a moment to remember.

Couples often choose our venue because it’s flexible, central, and doesn’t feel like a wedding factory. Want a garden vibe with lights and flowers? Easy. Want indoor karaoke and lechon with old friends? We can do that too.

Most vow renewals here are intimate (30–60 guests), and happen during off-peak seasons to avoid traffic and get better rates. We’ve hosted golden anniversary parties with full families flying in, and quiet weekday celebrations with just kids and grandkids. Whatever it is, we work with your vision.

Bridal Showers

Planning a bridal shower? Our smaller function rooms are ideal for girly games, decorations, and afternoon tea-style food. Groups of 15–35 are common, with setups ranging from cocktail-style to seated buffets.

We host showers from all over Cebu - Banilad, Labangon, Guadalupe, and even guests from as far as Talisay. Most happen 2–6 weeks before the big day, and are planned by the bride’s sister, cousin, or bestie. We love working with bridal parties and keeping things fun, relaxed, and on budget.

Packages range from ₱499 per head for buffet with free room hire for 4 hours. The venue includes karaoke, seating, aircon, and simple table decorations. You’re also free to bring your own lechon and cake (with no corkage). Rainy season? No worries - we’ve got indoor options with good lighting for photos.

September through to May are the busiest months, so we recommend securing your date early. We don’t handle legal paperwork or permits, but many of our guests already have a city hall ceremony booked before their reception here.
